Easton Turns ONE!!!

If this isn't one of the cutest babies ever....well OK, I'm biased because he's my grandson! We did a 20 minute mini photo session yesterday for his 1st birthday which was in September. Yes, you would think having a mother as a photographer would make getting photos of your children easy....you would think!

Major Guilt Trip

The good news about having a Blog is the ability to stay in touch and let people have a glimpse at what you are currently working on. The bad news is finding the time to keep up on a regular basis. Unfortunately, since June when I lasted posted, my the Blog has slipped lower and lower on the priority list. I know I am unable to post something on a daily basis, however, my goal is to post weekly.


Now that the summer wedding season is winding down and all of my weddings are processed, keeping up with the Blog should be an easier task. Although starting in October bookings for family portrait sessions increase as everyone plans for Christmas gifts. YIKES!!!


I do promise to share some of my favourite images from the past couple of months...weddings, e-sessions, maternity sessions and newborns.

Here are a few favs from a recent Bridal Portrait session shot in my studio. I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Andrew's wedding on August lst at Royal Ashburn. With all of the rain we had this past summer, they were one of the lucky couples who had a glorious day!

Logan's Debut

One of my closest friends became a grandmother for the first time a few weeks ago and I was asked to shoot her grandson's photo debut. Here he is...baby Logan! Welcome sweetie!

It's Almost Here....

Joanna and Scott's Big Day!

Tomorrow...Saturday, June 7th Joanna and Scott will take the plunge and I will have the honour of photographing this wonderful couple's special day.

They're at the Post!

Quarter Horse Racing Season started again on Sunday, May 11th at Ajax Downs. My friends Greg & Susan Watson of Full Circle Racing had 5 entries and a very successful start to their season. Two firsts, two seconds and a fourth!!!

I had the pleasure of spending the day on Saturday with Sue, bathing and grooming these incredible athletes, enjoying every minute of the excitement and anticipation of the day to come. I swear these animals know exactly what is coming and they can hardly contain their exuberance.

Greg & Sue's daughter Stephanie Brown Keeble and her husband Tom have purchased their first race horse...Money's Up...who finished 2nd for her first time running in Canada. Yeah!!!!!!!!! Money's Jockey Ramone, carried on a family tradition and wore the silks Steph's grandfather wore many many years ago. Big huge silk covered buttons...gave me goosebumps! So cool!!!

More Bellies and Babies

Lots of new babies arriving this spring and summer, hence lots of new mommys and daddys doing Maternity sessions. Images to look back on and treasure of this very special time in their lives.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a maternity session for Ryan & Sheena and their little boy while they wait for their new baby due in May.

I am photographing their wedding in August so this was a perfect opportunity for us to work together before their Big Day.

Such a fun couple and beautiful family!

Melanie & Jason's New Edition

She's here! Born on Saturday, April 26th (a day early) at around 3:20 p.m. weighing in at 7lbs. 4oz. I'm not 100% sure of her name yet, so I will leave that out.
Can't wait to meet her.
